Tapenade is celebrating it's first birthday

Inspiring Olive article by Chris Everson from Franschhoek Olive Oil Company
On her 121st birthday, Frenchwomen Jeanne Calment attributed her longevity to olive oil. She was quoted as having said “I’ve never had a meal without olive oil and rub it into my skin every day. I have only one wrinkle and I’m sitting on it”.
Chris Everson is the oil maker for the Franschhoek Olive Oil Company. He wrote a wonderful article on the history of the olive, how to choose a olive oil and how to store the product. After reading this article on our website, you will also be tempted to pour chilled wine, to squeese a ripe tomato over crusty bread, to sprinkling a bit of salt over it, and to dunk it into a bowl or your favourite olive oil.
